PEDIGREE OF *ANRI ARCHIE BROWN 

 

BOSTON BENTICK, the sire of “Hugo” (*ANRI ARCHIE BROWN), is sire to other quality stock still in the U.K.: among them, EYARTH BEAU GESTE and NERWYN ELOISE.  BOSTON BENTICK is himself descended from illustrious ancestors:  his dam, BOSTON BODECIA, was Champion Section B at the 1991 Royal Welsh Show and descends, through BROCKWELL BERWYN, from BERWYN BEAUTY and TANYBWLCH BERWYN.  On his sire’s side, BOSTON BENTICK traces back to DOWNLAND CHEVALIER and SOLWAY MASTER BRONZE. 

“Hugo’s” dam, LEMONSHILL ARUM, has been very successful as a broodmare at the Anri Stud: her son, ANRI PICCOLO, half-brother to “Hugo,” has had many prestigious wins under saddle, including qualifying twice for Olympia HOYS (Horse of the Year Show) and placing 3^rd there in 2004; and, new on the show scene, ANRI MIMOSA, half-sister to “Hugo,” has done well in hand as a foal in 2005.  LEMONSHILL ARUM is a daughter of COTTRELL ARTISTE, Royal Welsh champion and at or near the top of the Sire Ratings for many years.  On her sire’s side, LEMONSHILL ARUM descends from KESTON ROYAL OCCASION, and, on her dam’s side, from the famous COED COCH ponies, some of the most respected names in Welsh Section B breeding:  COED COCH BERWYNFA, TANYBWLCH BERWYN and CRIBAN VICTOR.
