*LLANARTH MERRIMENT was Champion Section B at the 2000 WELSH NATIONAL FOAL SHOW (cf. “Horse and Hound” magazine, 16 November 2000).  She was not shown in 2001 due to the outbreak of Hoof and Mouth Disease in the U.K., which forced the cancellation of much of the show season.
